Métier Hunt as career consultants aim to hunt down the remarkable skills and interests that may be obscured within a person and assist in realising and unleashing them in order to discover the right career path. A successful career is facilitated by absolute dedication and passion that makes you desirous of exploiting and honing your skills to the maximum potential in your profession without any external pressure. The key to this is choosing a career path that lies within your expanded boundaries of interests. We as career counselors aim to assist you with career guidance throughout the journey of discovering your skills and directing you to the appropriate / best-fit profession that perfectly matches your skillsets and aptitude.

To ensure students become career minded by taking them through the prism of available educational opportunities and resources, which are resonating with their aptitude and interests.  We as career counselors further seek to walk the path together with students and appropriately guide them to ensure that their career and academic goals get synergized and merged. We also want to create a social impact by ensuring that people are placed in right careers and jobs thereby contributing to their own happiness and productivity, which in turn, will contribute to the happiness of the society, at large.

Immediate Plan: -

We, at Métier Hunt, realize the fact that most of our students are confused as far as their career plans are concerned. There is considerable ignorance which prevails around the various affordable education and career opportunities available around our country and the world.  Their decisions are influenced by people around them – parents, relatives, teachers, peers and friends. We would endeavour to eliminate this ignorance and strive to ignite the minds of students from Classes 9 to 12 by providing comprehensive career guidance and  career counselling.

Long Term plan: -

As a long term measure, we would also like to partner with Government schools or NGO s to provide career counseling and guide the under-privileged students of lower tier schools, thereby creating a social impact and thus, becoming a socially responsible organization.

I have been a career-oriented woman always striving for perfection and had a burning ambition to become a trailblazer. Despite an average Indian woman’s stereotypical responsibilities that I was loaded with, the flame within me to become a woman of substance remained ablaze.

I had completed my Chartered Accountancy (Inter) however responsibilities called and led to a break in my career. However, I had begun tutoring the neighbouring children on various subjects and raising their bars in academics. That was when I realised my love for children and passion for teaching. That moment was a turning point in my career as I rowed my boat towards the port of teaching. I completed my ECCED degree and B.Ed degrees and today, I stand with a decade of experience in teaching at Primary and Secondary level (ICSE Board). Throughout my teaching journey, I always maintained a great personal rapport with my students. During this period, I painfully realized that many students were clueless about their career interests and aspirations. Many children were unaware of their potential and their aptitude, which slowly created a whirlpool of confusion and anxiety in their minds as they moved towards completion of their schooling.

With years of experience, I was very confident of identifying the career streams that would be in consonance with their personality, interests and potential. I wished to help the students and the parents not merely as a middle school teacher, but as a professional career advisor. This eventually inculcated the desire within me to take up career counselling as a profession.
